Allison Tuggle earned Educational Specialist Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a National Board Certifed teacher in the area of Literacy. In 2018, Mrs. Tuggle joined the Bearcat family as Assistant Principal of Academic Affairs. Since then she has been a proud member of the Bearcat family.
Mrs. Tuggle is married to Shane Tuggle, and has two sons, Ty and David Tuggle. Shane works for TA Services as an Account Manager. Ty is employed at Cullman Electric Cooperative, and David is a junior at UAH.

Aimee Bates has served Cullman City Schools since 2003 in a variety of roles, including middle school math teacher, technology integration specialist, virtual school administrator, and cheerleading sponsor. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal of Academic Affairs at Cullman High School.
Mrs. Bates holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Alabama and is passionate about supporting student achievement and academic excellence. She is the proud mother of four sons—Jacob, Andrew, Nash, and Owen—and a proud Mimi to three granddaughters and one grandson.

Mrs. Emily Hines, Assistant Principal of Student Affairs - also serving student Last Names G - O
Emily Hines earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Athens State University in 2012. She later completed a Master of Arts in English as a Second Language from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019. In 2021, she earned both a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from the University of North Alabama. Mrs. Hines is also a National Board Certified Teacher.
Mrs. Hines has been an educator for 14 years and is committed to fostering academic excellence, supporting student growth, and building strong partnerships among schools, families, and the community.
Mrs. Hines and her husband, Josh Hines, have two sons, Cooper and Grayson, both of whom attend Cullman City Schools.

Aaron Sparks, Assistant Principal of Student Last Names P - Z

The 2026–2027 school year marks Aaron Sparks' 26th year in education. A proud 1993 graduate of Cullman High School, Mr. Sparks earned his bachelor's degree from Athens State University in 1999, a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Alabama in 2005, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Instructional Leadership from The University of West Alabama.
Mr. Sparks began his career with Cullman City Schools in 2000 at Cullman Middle School as a teacher and coach before joining Cullman High School in 2004. In 2012, he was named administrator of the Cullman Alternative School, where he served until returning to Cullman High School in 2017. Throughout his career, he has taught social science and served in various coaching roles, including assistant football, assistant baseball, assistant soccer, and head softball coach.
Mr. Sparks is the proud father of three daughters—twins Harper and Parker, and Lily Katherine. He is committed to supporting students, staff, and the Cullman community while fostering a safe, positive, and successful learning environment for all.
