Key Club

CHS Key Club

Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Key Club emphasizes civic education, providing students with hands-on experiences in community service and leadership roles. Through engagement in various projects and activities, members not only contribute to their communities but also develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

Participation in the Key Club offers students opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, community leaders, and professionals, fostering valuable networks for future personal and professional growth. The organization instills a sense of responsibility, social awareness, and empathy, preparing students for active and informed citizenship.

Moreover, involvement in the Key Club enhances college and career readiness, as it showcases a commitment to service, leadership, and community involvement. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.
